Knockdrin 110kV Substation

Kilgallen & Partners delivered the Civil and Structural Engineering design for the Knockdrin 110kV Substation, Rhode, Co. Offaly. The substation serves as the grid connection for the nearby Yellow River Windfarm.

Our scope comprised design of both the IPP & Eirgrid Compounds including the control buildings, equipment foundations, earthworks, drainage and all associated site works. We also fulfilled the roles of PSDP and Assigned Certifier on the project.
