Paul Bergin is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years’ experience leading the design, planning, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects across the public and private sectors.

As Director of Kilgallen and Partners Consulting Engineers Ltd., for over 25 years Paul manages multidisciplinary teams on projects including national and regional road schemes, active travel infrastructure, mixed-use commercial and residential, industrial, and energy projects.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from University College Dublin (1990). His postgraduate qualifications include a Professional Certificate in Road Safety Audits from University College Dublin, Diplomas in Highway & Geotechnical Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, and Public Administration for Engineers from the Institute of Public Administration. He has also completed comprehensive safety, health, and welfare training accredited by ACEI, Engineers Ireland, and IOSH.

Paul specialises in transport assessment, civil infrastructure design, project leadership, and acting as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
